ok on myspace i want this picture set as my background this is the picture http://www.healthylivingonline.org/nutrition/graphics/starbucks.jpg

i know i need to give the picture a url or something like go to imageshack or photobucket and add a ccs code but every time i try the code and url it does not set as my background just puts it up as a picture 10 points for the person who can give me the complete code and url that will put it as my background do me a huge favor and make sure it works first

your orig pic was too small

tileing the image works (or fixed image) with the style tags but stretching the image to fit the page that would require alot more codeing a div overlay and a content overlay
My page is a div overlay myspace/vicmc3 i am not sending my code and you prob wouldnt want it as it covers everything of myspaces except for there ad on top then you would have to start building your page all over again :-(

I had visited your myspace link above and seen it worked it was tiled if that wasnt what you were wanting go to the web addy above if it was what you were wanting then my code did work and you have to clean out your history and cache perhaps or simply refresh the page

You have a few options. A quick-n-dirty method utilizing myspace itself, is outlined below. But first a disclaimer: Be sure that any images and storage methods you use to store such images adhere to the acceptable use policies/terms of service of any respective site you choose (myspace included).

Q & D Method:

1) You can opt to save the picture to your hard drive first, simply by right-clicking and choosing the option to "Save Picture As...". Place the picture on your desktop, making sure to note the name of the image.


2) From within Myspace, choose the option to add a picture. Myspace will then present you with an option to upload a photo. Upload the previously saved file. Be sure this isn't your only uploaded photo, as Myspace will then make this your default profile photo as well!


3) Click on "Edit Profiles", then click in the "Heroes" box section of your profile. Copy and paste the code below:



4) View the profile pictures. The image you want should be incorporated there. Right-click over that image to see the "address" of the myspace server hosting it. Highlight this and click on Edit, then Copy to save this URL. Replace text as explained in section 3 above

4) Save your profile and check....All should be OK.



Now some thoughts:

You may be able to use one of the free "myspace editors" to create custom colors, themes, etc. Explaining such here is far beyond the intent and scope of the question.
