Wow-your quick aren't you? And, irresponsible too. Here's a bright idea-go have them take a paternity test and then you'll be able to figure out who the father is Einstein!

Sperm can live inside the body for about 2 to 3 days. When exactly was the first day of your last period? Usually you count back 14 days, and that should give you some time frame as to when you can get pregnant. The egg can live for up to 5 days. Wow, thats only 2 days difference between the guys. You best bet is to have a dna test to kow for sure. When the body is ovulating, or getting ready to ovulate, you should have had a clear, slick, slimey discharge. Since youve had sex with the 1st man only 2 days before the other one, semen discharge could look the same. Do you remember having any discharge before the 1st man? I dont know, Im just trying to help you here. DNA test really is your best bet since there is only 2 days difference between the two.

it would be impossible to know...the dates are too close and sperm can live in the body for a few days...your ex could have been getting you pregnant as you were sleeping with your new guy...as crazy as that sounds. If you want to discuss probability...which means very little in this situation, I would say think in terms of how much unprotected sex you had with your ex, that didn't get you pregnant...if it is a lot, particulary if you did this around your period often, you could assume that it is the new guy that got you pregnant...regardless of when he put the condom on.
Sorry, you really are in a sticky situation that you will not find the answer to without a DNA test...and don't give birth and assume who it is based on appearance...genes are crazy, and the child may look just like "guy A," for the first year of his life and like "guy B" for the rest of his life...good luck.

If you conceived on the 20th then more than likely you got pregnant by the guy you only knew for a day and shouldn't have slept with in the first place. Sorry about your bad. I'd definately have a DNA test done so you can find out which poor guy will be paying you child support. Maybe next time you won't jump in bed with a stranger 2 days after you break up with your bf.

I worked in labor & delivery for 3 years, and never once saw a doc do an amnio for paternity, it's to risky. Semen can stay active for several days after sex, so it's possiable that either one is the father. At my hospital, they wouldn't do DNA at birth, It had to be done by the baby's doctor after you went home. It is very costly, but it sounds like it's the only way to know for sure. If you are still with the new guy, and he really loves you, then he'll stand by you, what ever happens, if your ex is the father, then remember that many couples separate and share responsablities of thier kids. It is a tough spot to be in, but the baby is the most important, everything else will work out. One thing you do know for sure, The baby is yours. Good luck

According to some science journals I read, a woman is more likely to conceive from sperm from "the other man". Emotionally speaking, there isn't one, but biologically speaking, the new boyfriend is. Your body has become used to the old boyfriend, and the new boyfriend represents a chance for genetic diversity in your offspring. Hence, a higher chance of fertilization. So, most likely, it is the new boyfriend's baby, but get a paternity test. And sperm can live up to 3-5 days in the vagina, again making the new guy your most likely winner.

So, why is using protection so difficult anyway? I'm 28, no kids, don't want any, and haven't ever had any. Precautions folks!

well its just 2 days from the other hard to tell if it was weeks it would be alot easier only sure fire way is dna test when baby gets here.Sperm can live in a woman's body for up to six days — possibly seven so this doesnt really help either cause 4 days for one then 6 for the other one can you remember for sure the first day of last period? let me know some how i have one of those calander things the round ones like the dr uses. but if you arent sure on your last period date the conception date might be a lil off i dont think she posted to here all your mouths talkin crap she wanted some advice not to be judged no ones perfect **** happens

You should be lucky that all you got was pregnant. Get in and get your *** tested for STD's. Then you'll have to wait until the baby's born and do a DNA test. There's no way to know otherwise.

I think they do DNA tests while the baby's still in the womb, but they're super expensive and an unnecessary risk.

It doesn't matter who is "more likely" to be the father. Get a DNA test to be sure. It's only fair to the baby and the guy. At least your not in it alone. You did good by telling them both, more than I can say for most women. Good Luck!

Yep, DNA testing is the only way to accurately answer your question. Unfortunately, that's one danger with having different partners on such short time tables.
