I had a natural m/c after 5 weeks, found out at 7 weeks. That was Dec 14th. The DR. said to wait one month before trying but that there was no risk in getting preggo right away. Has anyone has a successful pregnancy right after a miscarriage?

I had a successful pregnancy the following cycle after my miscarriage. My doctor told me my body was lacking the correct hormones for a successful implantation, and that after the miscarriage, I actually had a better shot at getting pregnant. It worked, happy healthy baby over here.

A doctor told a friend that too after her miscarriage at about 16 weeks but she became pregnant again immediately and ended up loosing that one too I think because of not recovering well enough from the first miscarriage! Take precautions - I can't believe doctors tell patients that when it is absolutely not true.

I know that a lot of people are actually at a very high risk of becomming pregnant again immediately after a miscarriage. It is not dangerous though.

You can successfully have a child after a m/c but I believe the chances get slimmer of having one with every m/c.
