i get to watch fireworks from the comfort of my home, cuz there are at least 3 families who set off fireworks in my neighborhood

Yes, my parents and I go to the temple in Detroit to ring in the new year. We started this just last month and chanted "Hare Krishna" till it was the New Year and then had a pizza party at 12:30 a.m.

our family gets together and at midnight we shoot fireworks and i call my Mom and wish her a happy new year.
