And how do I get the water in the washer out?? I have never done laundry before. o_o

sounds like you stopped the washer before it was through. Place the jeans back in the washer, and turn the dial to spin. You can place them in the dryer that wet, but it will take all night to dry them.

First of all, let the washer cycle go all the way through. Don't just take clothes out after a few minutes. You can run the washer while it's empty to let it complete the rest of the cycles. And why put soaking wet jeans in the dryer? They will take that much longer to dry. Let them go thru the spin cycle of the washing machine. Hope you have a gas dryer and not electric otherwise you're really going to run up a bill at the rate you're going.

You can do it, but it's a bad idea. You stopped the wash cycle before it was complete so the jeans are dripping wet and the detergent hasn't been rinsed out. It' could cause a nasty rash in areas that could be very uncomfortable ;-)

Best to put the jeans back in the washer and let it go through the full cycle... Wash, Spin, Rinse, Spin again. -- Then put your jeans in the dryer.

Look at the dial on the washer. I think it's self explanatory. You should have let the jeans spin in the washer to remove excess water but, you can put them in the dryer wet. Not very wise though. They might shrink.

no it won't cause a fire but next time let it go through the complete cycle it will empty all the water the jeans won't be soaking wet & the dryer won't take as long to dry.

How can you ask this big, long question on the computer, but you don't even know how to do your own laundry. Wash your jeans in cold water so they don't shrink and fade. Let the cycle finish which includes spinning them dry and emptying the water. To dry them, put them in the dryer on low heat if you don't want them to shrink. If you want them to shrink, put them on high. Im twelve and I know how to do laundry. You should've asked for a Laundry For Dummies guide for Christmas.
