Last year he predicted something "tsunami like" would hit the west coast --- now he's predicting that there will be a mass kiling in the US in 2007. Is he reaching for some type of legitimacy ---- or is he acting like a false prophet ????

Something "tsunami like" did hit the west coast Nov. 15 -- Two docks were torn apart and numerous boats broke loose when a tsunami surge hit Crescent City. And there may be a mass killing next year, like happens every few years. Columbine, Oklahoma City, Waco, Amish school, etc are some. "The Lord didn't say nuclear. But I do believe it will be something like that." Pat Robertson just assumes the worst. Then he takes credit for anything close, and even gets that wrong. Even though the U.S. was not hit with a tsunami (Just the minor surge), Robertson on Tuesday cited last spring's heavy rains and flooding in New England (not the west coast) as partly fulfilling the prediction.
Humbug!

He tries to make people apprehensive and then will solve all problems with his brand of religion tranquilizer. All religions do it in some form or another. Wise people see through it but, if he gets 1% of people who don't, he's happy. This is one of the methods that bible school teaches.
