on my 5th gen ipod what is that tv signal thing under settings mean? thanks

there are cables u can plug into ur ipod that let u play stuff through a tv. this setting allows u to choose how u wanna do this. never done it but yeah

Have you read pg. 36 of your iPod manual?

There is a setting for widescreen and to set the output type PAL or NTSC.

Widescreen - if you have widescreen, set this option to on.
If you live in the U.S., then set it to NTSC. If you live outside of the U.S., then set it to PAL. These are just two different video standards.
