Is the original better?

I've only seen the original and it was really scary. "Have you checked the children?"

I haven't seen the remake, but my best friend and I watched the original not long ago. I saw the movie a l o n g time ago, and my memories of it were very scary. The fact that, "The calls are coming from inside the house," haunted me for years. When we re-watched the movie, I was very disappointed. It wasn't the way I remembered it at all! The whole middle part of the movie is lame and boring. If the whole movie was just the first 15, and the last 15 minutes; it would be one of the scariest movies ever.

I saw the remake and lost 2 hours of my life on it. It was terrible compared to the original but then again also any movie that is a remake sucks when compared to the original. Hollywood has lost its touch when creating anything new in the horror films.

I think the only scary part is when the Stranger keeps popping up outta nowhere
I never saw the original, but it has to be better

Not scary at all. I think that the actors were pretty bad. the movie was more funny than scary.

it depends on if u think it is scary,i thought it was kool! but at the same time scary cuzz the guy is in the house and jumps out all over the place!!

It is a well done remake you'll like it if you liked the original, the acting was a bit better I liked both versions though. Watch it you'll enjoy it.

It gave me goosebumps and I was scared but I've watched worse. Like the Hills Have Eyes for example.

i havent seen the original but my mom says that it is really scary. she was also watching it when she was babysitting so what does she no.
