I should know this, our housemate had one & we took care of it pretty well - she was always away! When it's flowering, add some liquid feed to the water, water it maybe once a week - or twice if it looks dry. When I say water it, I mean the best & laziest way is to stand it in 1 cm of water once a week, that's all.

(not drench it by pouring it on). We tried the splashing it from above method and it looked scruffy for ten days : )

It's an indoor plant, doesn't like frosts or being outside, but it likes sunshine. Ours would scorch in direct sun, but we moved it around to the exact middle of the room, on top of any piece of furniture, so it got some light, without being dazzled first thing in the morning.

When it stops flowering, just water will do, same frequency.
Pluck off any dead brown dried leaves & throw them away.

Spacifillum or Peace lily is very easy to take care of. Light is not a big problem but the more the better.

Water about every 10 days depending on how dry or humid your home is.

Fertilize every two weeks with 20-20-20 fertilizer

I have one and it has 7 blooms on it now. I have it on my entertainment center which is beside a window. I only water it when the leaves start to droop. I have had this peace lily for a year and a half.

Peace lily plants are hardy indoor plants. It will do very well if it is in a loose fibrous potting mix, located in area where there is low or indirect light. Water when the soil is dry to the touch and fertilize a least once a month.
