I took an anthropolgy class, liked it, but had a hard time writing papers. Maybe I should major in something like Econ?

I believe you are only going to be attending college once
in your life--right? Then why are you looking for courses
that mean nothing to you except they may be easy? This is
YOUR LIFE, don't throw this time down the toilet. What
subject can you sink your teeth into?. You have to like
SOMETHING...or are you just going to college to spend your
parent's money? Do you want to be a pilot? an astronaut?
a novelist? a crime fighter? a road builder? a chef? something in the health field? What do you like doing better
than anything else in your life? No, not sleeping and drinking.
Are you still in high school or have you grown up? Get with it.
You could always sign up for Iraq?

Anthropology was easy for me because I found it interesting. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a good job in my area of specialization. I wish I knew then what I know now...

Place into the consideration:
1) After that degree, will you need to go to graduate school or post-graduate school to get a job in your field? Are you willing to do so?
2) Is there actually jobs available that require your major?
3) Will that major actually help you to get a good paying job?
4) Will you be happy in that job?

Don't go for what is the easiest college major, go by what interests you the most but have decent jobs available. Most colleges offer free tutors to help you with writing papers (if you need it).

Good luck!

Why are trying to find the easiest one? Shouldn't you find one that you enjoy? I was a history major w/ a secondary ed minor, but decided not to teach because of how incredibly involved it was. I dropped the sec. ed. minor, but then realized there's nothing you can do with just a bachelors in history. That's how it is with all the liberal arts.

I am now an accounting major/business admin minor and very happy with it!

Don't make this decision lightly!

Econ is really hard. The easiest major I've heard of is Communications.

Why would you choose a major based on difficulty? What are your interests? If you choose history because it is easy and then you graduate with a history degree only to finally discover you have no real interest in history.....you then have a difficult problem. Much more difficult than writing a paper.

Poli-Sci was a joke 35 years ago. I see the tradition continues. Another proud (of nothing) clueless mumbling moron imported from Illinois (land of high taxes, endless tolls & fees, (which he's yet to have paid) and perpetual political corruption), for 200 years & counting. Hey parents ... get your money back, the kid's an idiot. You've aided & abetted another twinkie with "Peter-Pan" syndrome (childhood forever).

Econ is antiquated. Try psych. I don't think you'd be required to write papers until late in the degree.

All your proposed majors are hard. Go into teaching that is the absolute easiest.
