I NEVER feel like a prisoner in my own home. I love my home, it is my sanctuary, I've created my own whole world here and it's the only space in my life where I feel I have complete control over pretty much everything. If you feel like a prisoner in your own home, do some work to change that feeling!

When I was in high school, feeling like a prisoner was when my mom wouldn't let me go anywhere, but now that I am a little older, feeling like a prisoner is if I want to go out, but I'm broke!!

Often when there it is too cloudy and gloomy outside or there is bad weather you'll feel like a prisoner in your own home. Also when there is much fighting among family members. And when your bored.

When you are not able to get out on your own or there is a ton of housework to do... you definitely can feel like a prisoner!

not knowing how to use a doorknob or a window. If the problem persits try using your mouth ( the thing food goes in) to yell better yet just run at the nearest window (the thing you can see outside when you look through it) as fast as possible until your free or you smarten up.

nothing. I just moved into a new home and I'd love to just be able to be home for a while and unpack. I feel more of a prisoner not allowed to be home.

The weather and my health, a combination which sometimes makes it impractical, if not impossible, to go anywhere.
