Female singer and the background music is very saccharine sweet and light pop, like the wholesome S Club 7 or teen bands of the 90s, so this is no Shakira or PussyCatDolls business here.
I know it's not much to go on, so please list any songs, ANY song that you know that has these lyrics and fits the background music description and I'll search em' out and see if one of them is the right one. The first to list the song I'm seeking will get Best Answer! Thank you!

"The way you do the things you do". For some reason that lyric came to my head as soon as I read this, but cannot remember the name of the song. High pitched woman and banging ooohh dang, I can't put my finger on it. Hope this will maybe help.

I don't know what song this is, but I know for damn sure it isn't "The Way You Do The Things You Do" by the Temptations.
I know that song by heart....so it's not that.
What is sounds like to me is...."Don't Tell Me" By Madonna. might not be right...but that's what I thought of.
