He is the only piece holding the Bears back from being the best team in the NFC. A steady, competent QB could get the Bears to the Super Bowl.

People just need something to talk about. Ya Grossman has had some sucky performances, but come on. He has a lot of work to do, and we've been fortunate to have a good enough team to back him up. If the Bears were doing horribly this year they would be going on about some other team... I mean come on...look at all these other quarterbacks in the league that choked...where are the critics there? Like I said, Grossman definitely has problems that he needs to figure out, but the only reason for all the "Grossman-bashing" is because the team is still doing well in spite of our quarterback performances. The Bears will be fine, Grossman will be fine, the next few weeks will be interesting.

Why all the bashing?
Have you been following his performances at all?
He had a ZERO QB rating going into the 4th in Sunday's game.
And that's not the only time that's happened this season.
Most of the season his QB rating was in the 20's.
I'm sorry, but that is poor, very poor for an NFL QB.
The Bears have won their games strictly by their Defence and Special teams.
Look at how they played against one of the better teams in the AFC this season, the Patriots. They got throttled.
The NFC is terrible this season....I mean, look at them. The NFC actually has playoff teams that went 8-8.

people dont realize he was the Q.B. with the most games this year with a Q.B. rating of over a hundred , and also the mosnt under 40 but never the less he is a great back and im proud to have him on the bears , when the playoffs come and he is playing at the top of his game and throwing t.d after t.d. people will say , oh i guess he is good , and people like me who have friends that hate him will tell everyone else to kiss our superbowl =champion bootays , REX GROSSMAN + Florida = Champion . did i mention he has the highest q.b. rating in Florida Gator history ? DA BEARS !!! and to answer your question people are dumb and when they all talked crap about the white sox look what happened , they went out and won the world series

well first of all it is his first full season, but he is far from a Rookie, the rookies are playing better than him lately.
Throwing 3 interceptions in just the first half is pretty much unacceptable. Not to mention think about the millions and millions of dollars he is making, and he can't get the ball to his receivers most of the time.
The defense has won many games for them and the running backs did their job too.
I feel Grossman has not.

Did you watch the Cardinals game? And there were a couple other stinkers in there, too. He isn't quite there yet, but a lot of otherwise bad quarterbacks (Mark Rypien, Kurt Warner, Trent Dilfer, Jeff Hostetler) have won championships with solid teams.

Because he was over rated from the start i mean people do fail to relize this is his first year as a starter but some of the bashing is understandable he is so not all that.

He is doing a terrible job. he has an amazing team. they won their division, have a first round bye, and are number one in the nfc, and it's not because of him. the loss on sunday night was all his fault. he threw three interceptions, no touchdowns and only completed two passes. he is holding the bears back. and that's why they are not going to make it to the super bowl.
