I have a lot of pressure in my vaginal area. I am 18 weeks pregnant and this is my third pregnancy does this have anything to do with it. I know with my second pregnancy I had pressure but it wasn't until I was in my 7th or 8th month.

I would definitely call the doctor in the morning. I am on my second pregnancy and around my 5th month I was having the same pressure and I was dilated 1cm when I got to the doctor. I still have alot of pressure but now I am considered high risk so I go to the doctor every week just to be sure he's not trying to come out.

You should see your doctor; I don't think vaginal pressure is normal so early in the pregnancy, but then again, I'm not certified to tell you for sure. It may be normal in your situation; it may be because you're on your feet a lot and he/she may recommend bed rest for a while, but your doctor is the only one who can tell you whether or not this is normal and what precautions you should take. Good luck!

whoo, hon, it sounds like you're pretty dag on close to giving birth. With all that pain and pressure down there and especially mucus coming out. Sounds like you're about to go anytime now. You also have a history of preterm labor and already 2 cm. I would call your OB-GYN.

It could just be the baby pressing against a sensitive part of your body (maybe the cervix?). I don't know enough about this sort of thing to say for sure. The baby should shift positions soon though, right? I'm sure you're fine, but just in case, you and your baby are in my prayers. :)

get your cervix checked. it may be dilating prematurely.
placenta previa also MUST be ruled out.
