Us - meaning you and me? or do you mean us collectively as a group?
Postage - as in money paid for mail to be delivered

Do we deliver postage? Is that what you're asking? Do we pay to have our mail delivered? Well, yes, we pay to have our mail delivered. We pay 37 cents for a stamp just to send a letter and more for larger parcels. So to answer that question, yes, we pay to have our mail delivered.

Of course, if you're asking why there was no mail delivery today, it was because we had a National Day of Mourning for President Ford's funeral. That is the custom in this nation. When a former president dies, we have a National Day or Mourning. No federal offices (which includes the Post Office) are open.
