I didn't think anyone would actually remember her! I absolutely loved her when I was little.

She was a pop-diva, almost like a punk-pop diva of Barbie except her hair was either pink or purple, and the show aired in 1985 and ended in 1988. The cast is pretty unknown because the show did not feature too much about behind the scenes unless you have either the DVDs or the movie for Jem and the Holograms. Yeah, she was pretty rockin' in that time period. She was a perfect 80s cartoon diva.

Yes I remember Jem, the doll with flashing star shaped earrings, and all the pink hair!
She was so cool! I think she could take down Barbie any day!

Yeah, I remember! Jem was cool. I had two dolls - one with flashing earrings and the other with pink and blonde hair (Rock 'n' Curl Jem, she was called). I wish I'd never given them away!

Remember the "truly, truly, truly outrageous" Jem? I still have my old Jem doll from when I was 6! She was great. It's a shame she isn't on tv anymore

Geeez, I do. And I feel old.
And can I say-- what an excellent ploy between the GEM manufactuers and Matel. I hated how Barbie's clothes didn't fit Gem and vice versa. Lol. way to go, guys! Get us to spend 2 times as much cash!
