My friend bought some mp3 player that's like the ipod nano. It's about the same size and looks the same, but it can play videos and have pictures, any idea what it might be and if it's cheaper or less?

Probably it is some product from China. I saw a few before (MP4 players) selling quite cheap in the streets of China. Looks similar to the Ipod nano but way cheaper.. was priced around USD 40-100 a piece..
mind you that it has no brand or warranty =)

If it's also an iPod, then it's probably a video iPod, which costs $249 for the 30GB and $349 for the 80GB, more than the Nano.
