Ok, I used to be a straight "A" student. Then my grades fell down, and now I feel like my parents donT like me anymore. What should I do? Sometimes, I feel like killing myself!

Hey now slow down life could never be that bad.

Talk to your parents. They'll listen to you. Tell them how you feel and the thoughts about killing yourself. Your parents love you and don't forget that. They may be disappointed but not mad. And do you know the reason for the slipping grades? Talk to them about that also. They will listen. I'll be praying for you. Good luck.

well we don't live for our parents or thru them although some parents want you to be what they weren't. I strongly suggest ( what else at this point do you have to lose?) to let them know how you are perceiving their feelings and you just want to be yourself and not have their high expectations and for them to please accept you for you and do the best you can. being not loved or needed or wanted can make one feel so alienated form the face of the dang earth. You need love and acceptance my friend so do that for yourself speak up and let them know where YOU are at as if your really this down they might not ever know how you felt and they need a wake up call. I applaud you for getting straight A's and That is a fact you can do it so you can do anything if you put your mind to it. If you need to talk write me to this name at yahoo.. good luck.

killing yourself won't help!
Your parents ARE disappointed; they see you as a "smart" kid. As a parent I can tell you that as long as you do something productive and good they'll think you're great in the end. Some people aren't the academic type- no biggie. You're good at something though- think about what it is.

Don't worry forgive yourself and try again, it's all about being happy , work hard , and be spiritual ! It's going to be ok.
