I would first check out the person who left the flier and make sure they are legitimate and ask for references and ask to see previous jobs they have done. I would NOT just let some stranger into my Garage nor home without checking them out first, but that is me. Then I would have my husband out sitting in a lawn chair "supervising" the person doing the work. I would NOT be there alone with this person for any reason. It just isn't safe anymore. But if all checks out on this person,I would go ahead and let them "tackle" it. Good luck

I probably would however I would not allow a stranger near anything of great value for example tools or antiques. I think a go getter is out trying to earn some money. I would interview the party, ask for a written quote (not an estimate) and some references. I would ask if they had insurance and if they are covered by workman's comp and their insurance carriers phone number. If it all checks out and the price is right... All you have to lose is an EXTREMELY messy garage. Just a note I would probably conduct the interview at a neutral location to size the party up. That way they won't know where you live if they are unacceptable to you. Good Luck.

Absolutely! It would be nice to park my car in the garage again.
You know how husbands never find the time to do that kind of cleaning.

Why not? Especially if you're not motivated to do it yourself. But be prepared to tell them what they can throw away and what stays. Be sure you understand exactly what they're going to do for the price before they begin.

People pay to have strangers clean there houses all the time. It sounds legitimate. If you need help, use it.

If that person is someone poor and honest I'll call him, but if that person is a robber, no thanks. But because you don't know him, and what kind of person is, I think is better for you to you clean up your garage.

I would consider it. But, how would they know what to throw out? I guess you would have to be there with them. Then you might as well do it yourself. Then you could let them organize what's left.

Ask for references. If they check out, I'd take them up on it.
