I need a website that gives me a location for the longitude/latitude i give. Also, what desert in Southern Israel?

Mapquest has a longitude latitude map with the function you described. It's at:

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/latlong.adp.

But this site shows a short list of other site that have long/lat maps:

http://www.selznick.com/products/moonmenu/globalposition.htm.


And, yes, the desert in southern Isreal is Negev (see below).

Google Earth will take you there if you put in Long & Lat instead of the name of a city.
