I just got back from winter break, and as a result, I forgot how to balance equations. Can someone explain to me how to balance the equations:

Iron (III) nitrate and sodium chromate yields iron chromate and sodium nitrate

Magnesium and HCl yields magnesium chloride and hydrogen

Sodium carbonate and sulfuric acid goes through a double replacement

Lithium oxide and water goes through a double replacement.

Thanks!

2Fe(NO3)3 + 3Na2CrO4 ===> Fe2(CrO4)3 + 6NaNO3

Mg = 2HCl ===> MgCl2 + H2

Na2CO3 + H2SO4 ===> Na2SO4 + CO2 + H2O although I'm not sure how that qualifies as a double replacement.

Li2O + H2O ===> 2LiOH ditto the above.

1. 2Fe(NO3)3 + 3Na2Cr2O7 --> Fe2(Cr2O7)3 + 6NaNO3

2. Mg + 2HCl --> MgCl2 + H2

3. Na2CO3 + H2SO4 --> Na2SO4 + H2CO3

4. Li2O + HOH --> 2LiOH
