Either tell him or show him. Above all, honesty is the best policy. He may or may not like you back, but if neither of you ever says anything, then you will never know.

if you know them well enough and trust them... tell them! if they say they like you too then awesome! if not, then theres always someone better than them who's meant for you. remember... everything happens for a reason! hope this helps!
