My husband accidently bought the liquid concentrate form of the formula we use instead of the powdered. Just curious as to how many days this can will last if my daughter is drinking 4-5 ounces at a feeding every four hours. It says for a 4oz bottle it would be 2 oz of liquid concentrate 2oz of water

Well, if i'm not mistaken if you make the whole 13 oz. preperation then you have to use it within 24 - 48 hrs. But still keep an eye on the expiration date if you make just a couple bottles at a time. Or you can mix it and pour it in bottles and then store in the fridge. That will cut down prep time and have it ready for you baby when he/she gets hungry!

Tip, when I send my husband shopping, I give him a picture list! I go around my kitchen and take pictures of the things I need him to get! Then he takes the camera and that's his list, once he's got something in the basket he just delets the photo!! Hope this helps!

GOOD LUCK!

My childrens doctor, who was the oldest and longest practicing pediatrician in the world, and who developed the whooping cough vaccine actually had her mommies use 1 part formula to 1 and 1/2 part water. So 2 oz. of formula, add 3 oz of water. Concentrate is very thick and heavy, esp. for newborns and explains why sometimes they spit up and have to change formulas often. Be sure and always warm your babies milk. Its soothing to the body and more like breastmilk. God Bless.
