Okay, so I got a pair of Red Monkey jeans for Christmas. My mom got them for $200, and they are usually $500-1,000 dollars. We went to visit San Diego and like there were guys outside selling Red Monkey jeans for only $200 dollas !! So we bought one pair of them, but they are kinda big, not that big, but kinda big. How do I shrink them so they will only shrink a LITTLE bit.. these are 200 dolla jeans so I don't want to mess them up.. i heard putting them in the dryer works but do I have to wash them first, or can I just put them in the dryer?? And what do I turn the dryer to when I dry them?? 10 points thanks.

WOW red monkey jeans...Take and wash them(turned inside out) in cold water then put them in the dryer on cotton cycle and they will shrink---not too much though...Give it a try.

Dang those are expensive jeans. I wouldn't have bought any pair of jeans for over $50! But hey this is your question. Back in the day when I would get brand new Levi 501's, they were shrink to fit. Basically I laid in a tub of hot water wearing the jeans to have them shrink to my body size. Now I don't know if these will do it but it won't hurt them either. Also washing them a couple of times in a row might accomplish the same thing. Good luck.

I would first wash them according to instructions, but do NOT dry them yet. Then I would put them back in washer on HOT rinse, then would put them in dryer but for only a few minutes at a time, checking them to see if they are the size you want or need to be yet. When they are ALMOST dry and are at the SIZE you WANT,then would REMOVE them from dryer and let them air dry the rest of the way. Good luck

yea you have to wash them before you put them in the dryer. But i would suggest washing and drying them inside out so the color doesn't fade. just the regular drying cycle will work fine.

Put them in the washer on rinse with warm or hot water, then dry on high setting, checking on them every 10 minutes or so. Good luck!

$500-$1000, you say? Well, naturally you want to be careful. Tell you what, let old Bender hold your wallet while you shrink those monkey jeans.

Don't do anything you will grow in to them. Putting them in the dryer might shrink them to much.
