I was given some samples of the "Bodi Detox Patch" and was wondering if any of you had used or knew of this. It claims to use wood vinegar and bamboo vinegar extract, houttuynia cordata extract, loquat leaf extract, chitosan, tourmaline, dextrin, vegetable fiber and vitamin c to draw out heavy metal toxins such as mercury, aluminum, lead, arsenic, etc. You stick it on your foot overnight and it turns brown with "toxins". I haven't tried it yet because I have a few questions...

HOW does this allegedly work?

IS it really sucking out all of these toxins?

HAVE you or somebody you know ever tried it?

These are made or distributed by Peaceland Holdings. Ever heard of them?

Thanks for your help guys!!

I haven't heard of that particular brand but, yes, I've heard of these patches before. I even bought some from our local vitamin store. My brother and I each bought a box and, yes, they got all brownish and smelly overnight.

The interesting thing is that I'm an ex-smoker. I quit 12 years ago. My footpads smelled like dirty ashtrays but my brother has never smoked and his footpads smelled different. That kind of made me think they really were pulling toxins out of our tissues.

They apparently pull the toxins out of your feet. haven't heard of the brand you mention but if they are the ones you mainly put on your feet...a search for 'foot detox pads' turn all the stuff up...then yes, I tried them. I would encourage you to read those sites...it's always nice to have more information about these things. I found they did work for me. Had a horrible foot pain and from blood tests learned I had heavy metal toxicity...I haven't used them in over a year because I finally got detoxed and my health problems went away. I saw somewhere that if you had pains in other parts of your body a pad in that area would help. I was curious and tried that and it did pull out a different color of stuff and the pain went away. I thought that was odd and fascinating. Not sure how that did it...but it did work!

Good luck! :)
