Almost always, iexplore.exe errors are caused because you installed new software. If you have recently installed new software, uninstall it and it should be fine.

Or, use System Restore to go back in time to a point where you didn't have the error. You get to system restore via Start --> Help & Support.

You are probably running windows 98. Without a long explaination the best thing to do is buy the upgrade to NT (99.00 at Walmart) The new internet explorer (iexplore) upgrades don't like old versions of windows. Or, wait for Microsoft's new operating system called Vista and pay a whole lot more!
