does anyone know a kids video game that you don't get killed in?

It all depends on the system you're looking for.
Playstation 2 has several games that are rated E for Everyone, including Disney's Cars, Spongebob Squarepants: The Creature from the Krusty Krab, Lego Star Wars, as well was many sports related games like Madden 07 Football and NBA Live 07.
Game Cube also has games like Spongebob and Cars, but they also have PacMan World Rally, Scooby Doo Unmasked, Ice Age 2: The Meltdown, Finding Nemo, and my personal favorite, Animal Crossing :)
Nintendo Wii has Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, Elebits, Happy Feet, and Chicken Little that would all be suitable for children, and it can also play any Game Cube games that you may have.

Video Games are Just like the violent movies culture has grown up with. People from the beginning of time enjoyed violence. Classic stories all have violence in them. But because we watch these things or play them that does not make it ok to kill or hurt anyone. These people that kill or hurt in reality are not doing it because of the video games they play but because they are naturally violent that's how they are programmed. If every child that plays violent video games is destined to become a murderer or a menace to society then we should include the massive amount of people that watch violent movies or read violent books. But you can't name any case were a child committed a violent act because he was mimicking a violent video game. Everyone has the ability to tell right from wrong and we all know that killing and hurting people is not right so we don't do it.

For a girl or boy? I assume a boy so any Football, baseball, or basketball games. Madden makes a lot of sports games and you don't get killed. We have an american Idol game. It is kinda old but fun. The make Racing games.
Not Grand Theft Auto. It isn't the best for a kid.

I have Spongbob Squarepants: Creature from the Krusty Krab for the Wii (Also on GameCube, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo DS.). It's pretty fun.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Your kids will LOVE this game.... :p
It's a lovely game where you begin as a disgruntled salesman who's girl friend has just been kidnaped by a dark army of teddy bears, and you must travel the vast flowery world of Lala land to reach her and negotiate peace with the Teddybear Chieftain, using your quick wit and a few cookies. rayman raving rabbids. for wii, ps2,xbox, and xbox 360, not sure about psp. every1 else is saying teen and mature rated games ,13-17. lik grand theft auto,and gears of war both shooting games

gears of war. its a very peaceful game and no one gets killed. its about 2 lovers who become seperated on a vacation in cancun and the object of the game is to find your lover. your adventure goes through flowery fields where you encounter a lovely unicorn to assist you on your adventure. very nice game. the kids will love it. actually i made all that up. try viva pinata. its for the best system out...xbox 360. im not sure exactly what it is but the cover looks like its for little kids and its called viva pinata. do the math
