Your fish will not get sick if you do a water change just after you feed them. If they appear sick it may be because you did a large water change and did not you use a water conditioner that takes chlorine/chloramines out of your tap. Or it could be that your fish were sick before you did your water change. Either way, feeding your fish and then doing a water change will not affect the fish.

i think it is OK but when you do make sure whatever you are putting them in is the same water temperature as what they were in. Big water temperature difference could cause them to die

Nah. Just make sure you use dechlorinated/cycled water that is the same temperature as the water you took out and they should be fine.
