I need about 10 good songs from the 50's era. It's for a group of 4-5 year old kids to sing, so... kid friendly please.
I've already gotten....
"splash-splash i was taken a bath. all on a saturday night..."
"1-2-3 o'clock 4 o'clock rock......"

but I don't even know the names of these songs.......
"sunday, monday, happy days. tuesday, wed, happy days......."

Do they have to be from the 50's. In any case i know some good oldies to fit for your cause, "Rockin Robin" by Bobby Day "Charlie Brown" by The Coasters "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" by The Tokens "Lollypop" By the Chordettes "Do you Want to Know a Secret" by The Beatles. Well thats all i can think of right now...atleast that are kiddy friendly i guess, good luck hope i've helped in anyway.

Purple People Eater-- Sheb Wooley ["It was a one-eyed, one horned flying purple people eater"--a novelty song for pure fun.]
Your last lyric is the theme song to HAPPY DAYS--which was an original composition for the show
Get a Job--The Silhouettes, I think.
Tossin' and Turnin' is great fun--Bobby something [Lewis?]
Yakety Yak--The Marcels?
Breaking Up is Hard To Do--[the original fast version] Neil Sedaka
Poison Ivy--The Coasters
How much is that doggie in the window?--Patti Page [or Peggy Lee?]
Mr Sandman--not sure, the Chordettes maybe?
