Unscented and be careful of shock syndrome (I think is the name of it). Read directions should have this syndrome within it. Mr. works with a man who's young daughter died of this.

Tampax pearl. They are the most comfortable for me. That is what I used my first time using tampons and I didn't have any problems. You are probally going to want the lowest absorbency, or the slender tampons the first time you wear one so it isnt so uncomfortable. Make sure you use a plastic applicator :)

OB....the reason why is the applicator that comes with other tampons can cause the tampon to be positioned incorrectly and that can be very uncomfortable. Another great thing about these are they are easy to conceal. They are so small and can fit in your pant pocket. Also.......when buying tampons, you are supposed to buy them according to the heaviness of your flow, but because you will be uncomfortable at first...try the smallest ones. I promise that will help.

I would say the smaller the better, but rest assured if you decide not to use tampons that is perfectly fine. I tried them but I simply can't feel comfortable with those things (no size) inside of me. I take comfort in my wings for a few days a month.

For your first time, you may want to try using a tampon when your menstrual flow is heavy; this should allow the tampon to glide in more easily. Choose the smallest size tampon for the first time.

You can use the slenders or juniors. Try to relax while inserting them. You may also try a water based lubricant such as K-Y Jelly, not Vaseline to help make them go in easier. With a little practice you'll be a pro. But rememer to relax because if you're tense it will be all the more difficult to insert no matter what size they are. Happy New Year.

I would say Tampax or Playtex as long as it has a plastic applicator because they are the easiest to insert. And try a lite or junior tampon at first because they are thinner and make it more comfortable for someone younger.

Carefree MINI tampons. 1stly Carefree are the safest and mini are the smallest. If your periods are really heavy you can use Carefree Super Slims. Make sure you read the instructions inside before you use them. Good Luck, this is the start of your freedom, pads suck! xxx
