I own a Marshall Mode 4 and a JSX, both full stacks. The cabinets for each are comparable in price and sound quality, ( cost around 750-800 per cab for either), and the head for the JSX should be around 1500. Either rig is excellent, and they are not selling very fast so now would be the time to buy. ( Got this info from where I get most of my equipment, Music Sound World in Tulsa Ok) I think the JSX is a little better because its easier to have the individual channel volumes/gain etc at the same levels, so the clean volume will be the same as the crunch and ultra if that's how you set it. the 4 channels on the Marshall are really only 2 channels with 2 presets (for lack of a better explanation). After you get the clean settings, if you adjust the crunch settings, the clean settings will be altered, and the same with the overdrive channel. The JSX also has the noise gate which works very well, and each of the overdrive channels has its own fat switch which is very nice. Especially considering the ultra gain is more over the top and will cut through for solo's nicely. The distortion is comparable with the M4 and JSX till you hit the ultra, then its ON!!The JSX is definitely the way to go. But, Get one of each if you can, they sound amazing together. Hope this helped.

He`s a rocker for sure!! sort of techno and has quick licks. The last guitar I seen him use was a Gibson ES 345 Stereo Jazz, but he has many.
