You watched it because you chose to watch it. Not because you were forced. It was part of your freedom of choice. In the future think about why you would choose to watch it. How will you deal with it if it bothers you?
I believe people have the right to choose to watch or not. That should not be denied there are people across the world effected by him, some of them need to see that justice was carried out. They should not be denied this, much the way vicitims and families are permitted to attend capital punishment carried out.
Anyone else watching really needs to think about the consequences that may come before they watch. Disturbing photos and pictures can cause post traumatic stress symptoms.
I for one find the pictures of his Kuwaiti victims in 1990/91 are far more disturbing that his hanging.

I think the whole thing is dumb, I think showing it's fine, whatever but i think it's wrong that people get such pleasure out of watching someone die, even though yes, it was Saddam and he is a horrible man, it's too much, people at my school were like hysterically laughing about the way his head jerked when he was dropped down... not necessary...

Yes it was right, It was necessary for all the people he murdered and supressed, tortured, and enslaved. For all the millions of Dollars he stole from the Iraqi people for his own ends, and for just being an arrogant jerk.
I just wish I could have seen his eyes bug out of his head as he swung - I know - kind of morbid - I'm sorry for saying that.

I believe they did to give closure to those who suffered under his rule. I watched it online and it was rather creepy I have to agree, but understand why they did it. If people dont want to see it they dont have to go out and look for it.
