Although I like the thought of having tons of friends on my list, that doesn't work for me because I don't have enough time to adequately interact with more than a couple dozen *tops*.
I prefer to keep it smaller so that I can check out their blogs & be with them through ups & downs. More than that & I just don't feel like I can offer quality time to any of them & that rather defeats the purpose as far as I'm concerned.

I have a small group too. I havent meet too many people on here that I see all the time, I dont pick just anybody as a freind.

I prefer anyone who accepts. The "Small circle" I have are the ones I socialize with most. A lot of times the circle gets bigger with more members.

i have 46 but i have a group of about 10-15 people that i always talk to. the others i dont talk to a lot or at all.

Small and compact, like a comfortable car that seats all, yourself included. I think it works better for me that way, I know who I converse with, keep up to date, that type of thing.
