I would have to say Family. And if your friend or friends are true friends they will be there for you no matter what. To have to make such a choice and if one chose friends over family what if years down the road those friends you chose are no longer apart of your life, think how hard it would be to get your family back if you wanted to. We all deal with family issues on a daily basis, so often I have to remind myself we can't pick our families only our friends. Sometimes I think we all wish it went both ways. If I were to loose a friend or friends due to the fact that I chose my family, I would have to question just how true of a friend were they to begin with. Good luck to you!

My gosh, how can you even ask this question??? Family will be there no matter what!! Nobody will watch out for you the way family does. Friends come and go all the time. Remember the saying "Blood is thicker than water"???? Keep that in mind always.

ppl that say family must have decent lives and i envy them. But for me being abadoned and having no one love me but my friends. There is only one answer and thats friends. If you still dont believe me then think of this. You cant choose your family but u can choose your friends. There the ppl u want to be around not the ppl your forced too. ^^ have a good life with both family and friends

what do you mean. if you are speaking in terms of who you want in your family, then yes. as you get older and start thinking about getting married, you will be able to pick your family or your children's family.

example: your fiancee can have all the characteristics that you like. and his family, his sisters, and brothers, and parents. people with good morals and good upbringing, honest hearted people, characteristics like that make a big difference. because even though you do not know what tomorrow brings, you can have some measure of control of who your future family will be.

friends.................. you can always pick your friends.

Family comes first, because sometimes friends come and go, but family is there no matter what.

Then when I want to recover from my family, I can turn to my friends!

my familia. FOR THE SOUL PURPOSE THAT THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THERE. I have had many different people come into my life & say that they were my friends, but it was my family there in the end, when my "FRIENDS" were gone. Don't get me wrong, if you find a good friend, don't let them go. They are hard to come by...

It would depend on what I was picking them for. I go out with my
friends for a good time. I help my family in any way I can, but we
can choose our friends. I love them all, but in different ways.
