My psp's square button is slightly pushed in and isn't in its best condition. My screen is scratched a little. The warranty seal is turn off, and the top holding the screen in is slightly loose. Do you think they will replace it for a smaller price than buying a completely new one?

yeah, my r button was disfunctional so we called in to sony using their toll free number and they said they would replace it for $75. However, i don't know about your warranty seal being torn off, you'll have to call and find out, good luck.

This is Sony you're talking about. Good luck trying to get anything out of them. I sent in a coupon for a free Twisted Metal Black when I bought the network adapter, and I still haven't received it yet. It's been over 3 years.

MS voluntarily extended the 360 warranty to 1 year. Has Sony done anything like this for the PSX, PS2, or PS3?

Is it still under warranty? And why do you want a replacement?

I doubt they will, but it never hurts to ask. Also sell it to Gameco. or a used video game store, or sell it on eBay.
