Most times around 6 months, but I have noticed if it doesn't do so well in theaters, they push the DVD release earlier.

depends on distribution deal. One that's doing better than expected at the theaters can take 6 months or longer. Those that are doing poorly may make it to dvd in 6 weeks.

4 - 6 months, unless it's The Covenant ... released September 8th nationwide, released on DVD January 2nd. I think that's actual a record.

It depends on the popularity of the movie! The more popular
the movie the longer it takes and the less popular a movie is
it will take less time!
