Not allowed for me. Many come to cry on my shoulder but when I have something to cry about no one seems to be there.
I am suposed to be the very stable one and I should not have anything to cry about and be ready to listen to others and help.
I have to talk to myself.

Once in a while, but I'm better at supplying the shoulder for friends who need it.

yes, sometimes it's good to let someone let you cry on their shoulder. Having that support of someone caring about your feelings can mean alot down the road.

When your shoulders only use is having others cry on them, you learn how to forget your own worries just to calm them down.

I'm stunned that this received so many responses... and so quickly.
I think it firms my belief that most folks are a bit deeper and in a bit more pain than they let on...
I know I am. I guess, for the moment, I somehow feel less alone.

I don't. Not now any way. We all need a strong shoulder to cry on now and then. Thanks any way, I'm fine for now.
