im going to put a cpu in my truck and wanted to know what the minimum dc to ac power converter i should get?

Will you also have a display? Consider that when computing your wattage. I've used a 400w converter before with a laptop and powered speakers and printer, but I think I was pushing it. I would get a minumum of 400w but more if you'll have an external display.

It varies from what kind of computer you have. I would guess your puting in a labtop those are ussually under 300W. Look on the back of your machine for the actual details. Then just search on bestbuy.com
