I've had mine done, so I'm not just blowing smoke. My expeirence was that it bleed a little, not too bad though. And I have a high pain tolerance so it more stung but it's pretty fast with the needle, the prep can take a while, first he cleaned the inside of my nose on the side I was getting it done with a q-tip to make the surface clear of any mucus, figuring out the spot you want it pierced (the guy that did mine used a marker to make a point and asked me to check it in a mirror to be sure it was a good spot), lining up the hollow tube that is usually placed on the inside of your nose against the point to catch the needle after it goes through, and the clean up like making sure the ring is in right, cleaning off any blood, making sure the person isn't light headed, just like you would with any piercing they check it out before sending you off or should.
If it helps you to know what will happen and expect pain so you feel it less, ask the person to explain the steps before doing it but if you do better with not expecting pain just go for it. It may make your eyes water (mine did) because it was so close to the nerves that connect to your tear ducts and sensories in your nasal cavity.
I'd say the biggest thing is if you aren't comfortable at the shop do NOT get it done there. If you feel that the place is too dirty (porn on the walls, snakes, anything that grosses you out) it might be a good idea to put it off and look for a place that you feel good in. Oh and yes, clean it well, don't take it out to clean it just clean around it with a q-tip and be gentle.
Mine went wrong and had to be surgically removed because the gem was too small, it was a micro gem which I found out later is normally used after it's healed and can be changed. Don't let horror stories scare you off, if you want to do it take the proper precautions and don't be a afraid to see a doctor if you think something about it is funky at any point.
It seems like you are ready for it, good. Don't let being nervous get to you between now and tomorrow if you still do it.Good luck!

I got mine done about a year and a half ago. When they did it they first clean your skin where they're going to pierce it, and then the inside of your nose with a clean q-tip (yes very weird and silly feeling, especially cause I had a hot guy doing mine). Then they take this small piece of metal and place it against the wall of your nose IN your nostril (so as not to poke you inside your nose when they stick the needle through) and pierce it with a needle. Its VERY fast. The actual piercing part hurt like a two on a scale of one to ten, I'd say around the level of getting your ear lobe pierced. It bled a little, its bound to. Your eye will water on the side of your face that got pierced because its connected to your nose. They should give you stuff to clean it with and youre done! Oh and you should clean it regularly the whole time you have it otherwise it can get dirty and mildly infected and start swelling up, even long after you got it pierced. Also you should get a corkscrew nose stud when you get it pierced because they will bend it so it has room for the swelling and also is still cute exactly like a normal stud. After its healed switch to a normal stud. Be careful when kissing as people can catch their face on your stud and it yanks on it.Not pleasant. Be warned this piercing takes awhile to heal as well.

Mine didn't bleed at all. As far as the pain, if you go to someone that knows what they're doing, it shouldn't hurt either. Have you ever plucked out a nose hair? That's what it felt like to me. It made my eyes water a lot but it was over really fast. No biggie. The belly button was way more painful in my opinion.

Make sure you get a hoop and not a stud. Studs might look better (I have a stud now) but you will heal A LOT faster if you get a hoop to begin with and then after it heals, change to a stud.

Have fun!

It didn't bleed for me. The pain was worse than getting a tattoo in my opinion. Mostly cause it's just cartilage, but it's right there where your eyes are at. If you pinch really hard the skin right under your eye it's five times worse than that! The process is slow.. i kept sitting there thinking is he done yet.. and he kept going and going.. But the worst thing was is my eyes watered. It hurt like hell! Have fun with that!! I would have kept it, but unfortunately my job requires that I can't have stuff like that in. So i ended up getting a clear nose ring and it just looks like you have a huge white head. So i ended up taking it out. And it didn't leave a scar or anything on me which was one of my main concerns. But i do wish i still had it! I loved it a lot.

if pierced correctly then there is minimal pain and little to no bleeding...the only discomfort is when they actually put in the nose ring cuz it's like a hook and they have to screw it in...but still no pain..u'll be fine...sounds like u are just anxious...but really don't worry about it...just make sure that the needle is sterile, and that they clean the nose ring before putting it in...and remember to clean with non-scented anti-bacterial soap everyday, and they will tell u not to remove the ring for like 8 weeks...when u go just ask questions they will answer them...gud luck!

You should be scared :P My friend pierced her nose once, and it started bleeding at first, then, she had those yellow liquid that kept flowing out. The last stage was that she had this lump of skin on her nose. She looked like a witch. She had to get it surgically removed. So, I really don't think you should do it. And yes, she went to the doctor to have it pierced, so don't assume that she did not take any precaution. Sh*t still happens many times.

had mine pierced 5 different times...the pain isn't that bad just a really dull feeling pinch...although mine would never heal right I always got this little bump that wouldn't go away til i removed the peircing. even when i used a gold screw. good luck. keep make-up off of it. thats the most important thing.

It is a bit of a popping sound puncturing noise may bleed a little and it gets in the way of kissing.

Most people find it a bother and end up taking it out. Get your belly peirced or just go out and get your pretty fingers done..

go to a professional at lieka tatoo shop and make sure you see then get out clean needles and wear brand new gloves. everything has to be clean.

after you get it done makesure you put medicine on it and clean it with alcohol. try not to get face clenser on it it can irritate it.

for me it was a 4 and for my friend it was a 8 but it depends. when you are getting it done dont think about it. just imagine you are some where else.

and make sure to tell your cousin and yourself not to be nervous

Honey i had my nose pierced a year ago. I could not stand it . My nose was constantly infected with cold sore like things that oozed all the time. I finally ended up losing half of one side of my nose.
