It's these type of situations that can teach us alot. These situations and such people actually help us to cultivate Patience and Wisdom.
I am grateful for my enemies, which I also use to teach me much wisdom, Patience, and Tolerance through how I think and respond to them;how I treat them.

Patience helps us to become a better person inside, and improves our relationships with others in life.

"Patience is always a better, more wholesome alternative than anger and hatred !!! "

It is a matter of Attitude and Perspective I suppose. You may not agree with me, as many might not. But this is o.k. Any answers we read to the questions we post, are there to help us, and to teach us to become a person for ourselves, our families, and the societies in which we live in.

It also helps if we all, as human beings, strive to have a humble teachable attitude in our lives.

A person's mental state is meant to remain calm. Even when some anxiety occurs, as it is bound to in life, one should remain calm.
As we remain calm, we remain in better health.
If we remain calm our blood pressure and so on, remains more normal, and as a result our helath will improve.
There are some people who have great material comforts, yet, when we start to talk to them, after a few initial nice words, they begin to complain much and are grieved, and unhappy inside. In spite, of all their material prosperity, many of these people do not have calm, and peaceful minds.
As a result, they are always worrying about their digestion, sleep, their health, and often everything else !! Therefore it is clear that mental calmness is a very important factor for Good Health, Peace, and Happiness for every individual in life !!

Take Care, and Have a Peaceful, Happy 2007'

Some people do it on purpose but honestly I sometimes only realize I am going slow when someone passes me. I see that I am going slower than the speed limit, at least slower than everyone else, and speed back up when someone passes me. Usually around town when I am not in a hurry to get anywhere.

The only time I do that is if the vehicle trying to pass me has tailgated me, or flashed their lights at me. Certainly not a good or even safe reason to do so, but hey, if I get behind a slow driver, I wait for the opportunity to pass. No big deal, and I continue on the path I was on.

This actually happened to me on Christmas. Only it was the other way around.
I was driving in the fast lane and going a few miles over the speed limit....and then this stupid MORON gets right up on my bumper, instead of just steadily going around me. I couldn't slow down, or else he would have hit me...(he was that close to my bumper!)
So, then he tries to go around me and I speed up. I don't take sh*t from tailgaters. I sped up to the speed of another car and stayed alongside him so that the moron tailgater couldn't pass.
I hate these bastards.
And as soon as he was able to pass, he flipped me off.
Merry Christmas, to me!

I have no clue..they are mean and rude I guess...People in the town I live in are HORRIBLE that way..you can have your blinker on for 5 minutes before someone actually lets you in..and they don't know the difference between merge and yield...they will about RAM you at a yield when you have the right away....
I think lots of people now days are just self absorbed and it shows in many areas..driving is just one of them.
JMHO :-)

I do it only if I'm in my Acura Legend. I won't let anyone pass up the Legend. Now when Im in my Chevy Prizm I wouldn't care if they pass me up or not.

I think I remember some women doing this, but it usually seems to be men. I think it's a sub-conscious (in most instances, not all) male reaction to a "challenge". It's really all about ego.

maybe they wish to continue moving at their current speed, which may be faster than your own.
