If you're looking for a more cultured name I'd suggest :
Mandisa (Mandi for short), or even heck Zahara ...most beautiful name Angelina Jolie could've picked.

Someone suggested Giovanni, which is a fabulous name. Spelled correctly Giovanni - not an incorrect spelling.
