Not particularly - think it has too many possibilties for teasing.
If you're looking for a more cultured name I'd suggest :
Mandisa (Mandi for short), or even heck Zahara ...most beautiful name Angelina Jolie could've picked.

Don't care for this at all. Reminds me of Jell-o, or gel.
Someone suggested Giovanni, which is a fabulous name. Spelled correctly Giovanni - not an incorrect spelling.
