Hey, I posted eariler about my period being whacked..no cramps, no red blood just 6 days and still going with the brown spotting. I usally have heavy 4-6 day regulary periods, and yes me and spouse had a oops last month. Well tonight I took the test and it was negative. I kinda thought it was pregnancy because the spotting and having no cramps with me is very odd. I made a docs appointment but i dont get in till friday. Im only 24 and worried it might be something else serious..like a cyst. If anyone can help me out with advice or suggestions, that would be great, im sweating bullets, thanks in advance

I don't mean to be rude, but you definetely are stressing over this, since this not your first post, you're 'sweating bullets' and you're worried it might be a cyst. So you can't rule out stress just yet.

You should call your doctor; he can order or do an internal sonogram which can accurately tell you by now if you are having a baby or if it's something else. The sooner the better; if you are pregnant, this uncertainty is not good for the baby; it you're not, you can deal with whatever may or may not be wrong and breathe a little easier. Either way, I wish you the best!

i have cysts, it is not fun but more simple than you think. If it is a cyst, usually then disappear on their own or pop. That could be when your cramps were, or maybe you had a cyst and it popped and you didnt even know it and then you ovulated and it was tender. My period is way off due to cysts all the time, but it is good to go to the dr. they can do a pelvic exam and an ultrasound and see what is going on. With persisent pain go the ER, i had a cyst pop inside of my ovary and it was just bleeding internally so if it is pain that makes you double over and sensitive to pressure when you push down around that area or if sex is painful; go to the dr. It sounds like you have made the right choices, good luck

I had cycts when I was a teenager and they can throw your period out of whack, mine were treated with birth control pill, Also every few years our bodies change so can cycles, I would wait another week take another test, ikf it is still negative and you are still having the spotting make an appointment to get checked out.

usuall the brown spotting could mean implantation! so take a test again in a few days!! the implantation usually occurs a few days before your missed period!!! or if you were sick tha past month like everyone else that could also delay your period!! it delayed mine for an extra 7 days!!!
good luck whatever the outcome!!

Glad you are going to the doctor, it could be a false negative... Your doctor can tell you for sure - and good luck getting whatever pregnancy outcome you are wishing for at this time!
