Don't worry! Every American is accepted and welcomed in those countries although there are some problems.
The safest country by far is Greece. Member of the European Union and one of the most advanced countries in the world. There are Greeks that are against the policies of the American government but not against the American citizens in general. So don’t worry at all. More than 1 million American tourists visit Greece every year!
Turkey had some problems with terrorist attacks but in general is safe.
The country you mistakenly call "Macedonia" is actually Slavic/Albanian-Macedonia or FYROM. It has nothing to do with authentic Macedonia of Greece! Be careful!! If you want to visit the authentic Macedonia you must only come to Greece!
{Authentic Macedonia or Greek-Macedonia is in Greece. It is the birthplace of Alexander the Great and one of the most important regions of Greece. Every archaeological site of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedonia is in Greece. For example the city of Pella, the ancient capital of the Greek kingdom of Macedonia or Macedon, is in authentic Macedonia in Greece! (The word Pella is a form of the Doric Greek word Apella, originally meaning a ceremonial location were decisions were made. The city was founded by king Archelaus I specifically to become the capital of his kingdom.)
The ancient city of Vergina-Aigai (the first ancient capital before Pella, was the place of the ceremonial burial of the royal family of real Macedonia) it is in authentic –Macedonia in Greece!}
The Balkan state of Slavic/Albanian-Macedonia is safe only when there aren’t any tensions between the various ethnic groups of the country (mainly between the Slav-Macedonians and the Albanian-Macedonians). Be careful before you go and make sure that there aren’t any tensions.

Greece is one of the safiest countries of the world.
When you come here you will understand what I mean.
As it concerns Turkey,it is nice to visit this country but some years later some bombings happened there , two or three times the recent years in hotels full of tourists.
As it concerns Fyrom (that is the real name of the country that you call Macedonia , Macedonia since ancient years is called the northern part of Greece),I really don't know.
I guess it is safe because it is a tiny country, but I have been to Skopia about 2 years ago just passing by and I can say that it is a very ugly location , not suitable for tourism.

a million out of each and every 4 Christians interior the international are Catholic. however the Catholic Church has replaced over the years, merely like the numbers have. some Catholic church homes are previous style, and a few are extra modern-day and lenient. it is why maximum folk brake off into Protestant church homes. As for the "no faith" human beings, some those that have faith in God decide for to no longer call it a "faith". have you ever heard the announcing "Jesus is my savior. no longer my faith." It particularly plenty ability worship God the way the bible says to, no longer the way guy-made non secular communities inform you to. As for the atheist, extra human beings have become too clever, and thinking technology is the main to each little thing.

@capricious:the language that is spoken in Fyrom exists . It is a bulgarian dialect that has nothing common with greek language of course. As you can understand you can not call it macedonian, because Macedonia is a part of Greece where everyone speaks the Greek language, almost the same that Alexander the Great was speaking.
Greece is a very safe country, that is for sure. You have just to ask anyone that has been in Greece before or anyone who came in Greece for the Olympic Games. There is nothing that you should afraid.Exactly the opposite.
I can not tell for sure for Fyrom or Turkey.
Have a great time in Greece and if you need any touristic information you can send me a mail and I will help you a lot!

Very accepted. International travel always presents risk. How would you feel if you were traveling to NYC from abroad? Risky would only start to describe.

F.Y.R.O.M. and Turkey wouldn't be a problem for Americans since these countries are famous American ''lickers'' and supporters. Greece does not like America politically but in general the people have no problem at all with American people that come to Greece. There are thousands of tourists every year and there has never been problems.

Solun, the guy asked a simple question , there is no room for your propaganda here..By the way does the word Θεσσαλονίκη and Μακεδονία mean anything to your bulgarian languange?Cause they sure have a meaning in Greek cause they are Greek words..
