Does that seem like a good idea? Isn't armpit sweat a vital part of the body's natural cooling system? What do you think will happen if you close off those vents, especially if it is working overtime? And right next to the breast too - I think it is a very dangerous idea.

Peace!

Yes it does help excessive sweating of the arm pits or axillary hyperhidosis. My doctors do it all the time. Most insurances will cover it for this condition, but the total cost in my area depending on how many vials of Botox they use is about $1000 per vial which is the cheapest it will be. The thing about Botox is that once a vial is open you cannot reuse it so you are charged for at least 1 vial. There may also be additional cost for the procedure itself, usually between $500 - $1000. It will last from 6 - 12 months depending on the dosage.

yes. it depends on your area (cost), but armpits are kinda large areas to treat, because the small injections only 'deaden' a small area, so you will need more shots than you would to treat a wrinkle. I'd say 5-1500 bucks depending on area.

however, even if you find it on the lower end of the price ring, it wears off in about 3 months, so multiply x 4 ea year.

The more you do it, the longer it should llast, though. By the second year, may last 4 months or more.

Also consider side effects. A doc who doesn't know what he's doing or isn't board certified may inject too much, which will partially or fully paralyze some muscles (for about 3 months)

Not unusual to get a different level of result each time.

Go to your health food store. They have some stuff that comes in a shallow jar like container and has metals (magnesium?) in a cream, and it constricts your pores for a good while. It has no deodorant or anything, just the active component. Good luck!

Actually yes, if u have a compulsive sweating disorder it can really help you. i'm not sure just how expensive it is, but i'm sure that it can certainly get that way because you have to do it often (ranges from every 6 weeks to every 3-6 months) to keep it up.
Good luck!

I hope not, arm pit sweat is toxins being released from your body. If they stop sweating, then where do those toxins go? Perhaps they stay in your body, probably a big reason why so many get sick, they where anti-perspirant.

Yes, it works.

But, do you know what botox is? Botulinum toxin. The same stuff that causes people to die from botulism. I smell a lawsuit in the future over botox.
