How do they act, dress, anything!!! I was just wondering cuz i read about it in a book... im not very smart :(

Nerd, as a stereotypical or archetypal designation, refers to somebody who passionately pursues intellectual or esoteric interests - such as books and video games, rather than having a social life, participating in organized sports, or other mainstream activities. The Merriam-Webster definition is an "unstylish, unattractive, or socially inept person; especially: one slavishly devoted to intellectual or academic pursuits".

Traditionally, the designation nerd (occasionally in the form nurd) applies to an intellectually gifted (probably > 120 or so IQ) but lonely and socially awkward person, one fascinated by knowledge, especially science and mathematics, and less interested in physical and social activities. Visual impairment (hence the glasses) and some form of High-Functioning Autism are also common characteristics, and the social impairment can often be explained by the latter.

Nerd's usually dress with their shirts tucked in and really tight pants that are pulled up way to high. The difference between nerds and geeks is that nerds tend to be smarter and are proud of their acheivements. Where as geeks lack intelligence and have prettly low self-estime.

People categorize nerds as one who doesn't follow typcial trends, and does things like read comics, shelters themselves in books, doesnt care about appearance, and cares more about their school life. its lame.

some people who dress up like they were from another century or have lack their sense of style, people who loves to watch sci-fi movies, some may wear glasses some may not, may look wimpy, and may have a screechy voice some may not have.
