A black hole is a place in space where there is a collapsed star, I believe. It is so dense that it has an incredibly strong gravitational pull. The gravity is so strong that even light is pulled into it. Since even light cannot escape it is called a "black" hole.

We are not getting pulled into one because the effect of gravity decreases at a much faster rate as the distance between to objects increases. In other words, the farther away the objects are from each other the smaller the pull. Eventually, the pull is too small to change anything we can measure. We are not close enough to any black holes to be in any danger.

Relax. You are safe for now just like the rest of us.

this could possibly happen, but theres no black hole near enough that this would happen within the next few millions, if not billions of years (talking about stellar black holes)

newest idea is to create small artificial black holes in hughe particle accelerators, but those aren't stable enough to suck in anything, since they'll disintegrate in milliseconds right after creation.

answer: no .. we will not enter a black hole

That is possible, but probably in 15 billion years, judging from the distance and gravitational pull.

Maybe in billions of years. Don't cancel that dental appointment.
