dude exactly, this is what i think the falcons should do, trade matt schab and jerious norwood to the raiders for randy moss and lamont jordan, then the falcons also draft calvin johnson and then we'd be set dude, this is also very real and could possibly happen...hope my opinion helps good luck to us next year

Are you sure that they don't have any good receivers or a decent offensive line?
A receiver is only as good as the number of catches that he makes. With that said, is Vick throwing the ball to them or is Vick too busy running the ball? Vick has over a 1000 rushing yards, which means that 1. he's a really mobile QB or 2. he's not throwing the ball to his receivers.
Now the offensive line: Could it be that they look bad because Vick is always scrambling so it looks like the offensive line isn't doing it's job. The offensive line has to be good to allow Vick to gain 1000 yards. Not many teams have a RB, much less a QB, that can rush over 1000 yards in a season, so the offensive line must be doing something right.

Because they depend on Vick's ability to run after the back drop. They think that they can use Vick's feet to create some time in the pocket. And if he will run, then the recievers are just a liability. Plus I dont think he has the arm of a pocket QB. So with that, the coaches are not really using Vick as a QB instead they use him as an option(black QB stereotype) QB.
If the coaches wake up and use him as a traditional QB, then you will have more success and the recievers will get more touches. Its not surprising that his recievers drop so much because they make him run too much. He went with 1000 yds this season as a QB. Thats nice, but it does not reflect to success in the NFL. That has been proven time and time again.
Im tired of so-called experts saying that they need to create custom plays for him in order to be effective. This is a team sport, not basketball were a solo talent can thrive more. Michael Vick is a Quarterback first and a runner second. And its sad that he is not used in his full potential as a QB.

What's the use of good receivers when their overrated QB can't throw anyways? They should trade Vick while he's worth something and get some decent linemen. How many coaches must lose their jobs because of Vick?

they need good scouts. When the 49'ers were good it was because of low draft picks. Anyone who has the first pick in the draft can pick Reggie Bush. How many can pick TO or Charley haley or Romo or Kurt Warner.
The cowboys have a history of winning because of their scouting department.
Look at all of the big time players and draft picks the falcon have had that did not work out.
If you have a lousy front fronts your coach can do nothing.

i agree with superdork, how can you block for a gb when you dont no where he is going, they should try starting schaub and sitting vick and get a coach that will disipline them.
Jim Mora wanted to be a buddy not a coach to them, the players called him Jim not coach Mora and all the players on the team run their mouth espiccaly for Meanglo Hall (deanglo).
Remember in the second saints game when the 2nd quarter was almost over they threw the 50yd TD pass meanglo went for the pick not to knock it down just to improve his stats.\
So get a coach that will really disipline the players

They are paying Micheal Vick a bizzillion trillion dollars
they dont have any money left to pay any other decent players

from the bottom of my heart (no homo) vick is my ******* fav qb but atlanta needs to go in a diff direction. sorry! they should trade vick for 3 players...a decent wr, linemen and a qb...possible the green bay packers.vick would look good with the packers once sadly favre retires.

Umm cause they put to much money into Micheal Vick he ain't worth the money they re paying him and if hes so fast was does he get sacked so much
they should use that money to fund wide outs and lineman
