unless your baby has been with ONLY you, there is actually a very good chance she has been traumatized.

Question your babysitters, daycare, grandma, whoever your daughter has come into contact with.

A child doesn't go from "loves baths" to "screaming bloody murder about the bath time" for no reason.

believe it. Maybe mommy or someone else accidentally let the baby slip under the water? That would scare the hell out of any child.

She is getting older and being put into a big tub can be scary. You need to get in with her and show her there is nothing to be afraid of. Or buy one of those small tubs and put in there and then put her in it. She might feel safer with something around her. She won't feel so scared being in something smaller than the big bathtub. Then as she becomes comfortable, after a while you can gradually introduce her to the tub. I use to bath my child in the kitchen sink, she loved it all the time. She felt safe and secure. Good Luck!

Both of my kids started out liking a bath,then hated it. It went back n forth quite a bit. I really wouldn't worry too much about it. BTW, Now teens, they STILL hate bathing!! Now there's a problem!! { AND, once they're in the shower, they're in there for 45 minutes!! It's just keeps gettin better! Enjoy babyhood!}

well, i am a nurse and it is possible. children start out loving certain things, but then as they grow older, become uncomfortable and it could be for any reason. i for sure insist you go see her pediatritian about this situation no matter how stupid people might think it is. be confident and try your best to explain the situation. also......do try buying bath toys, sitting in the tub with her, splashing, hold her tight to your body and sing to her....in time, she will love it. good luck

water temperature undesirable? maybe not the right toys in the bath. make it enjoyable again. take a bath w/ baby to let her know she's safe.
