I doubt it. They are playing really well right now, but everyone has a little bit of a jolt when a new coach comes on, and they are too far behind already. There is just too much going against them to think they will make a serious run. For one thing, the Blues may be playing well right now, but Chicago and Columbus are much improved under their new coaches, too. So that is two teams to jump over, in addition to the ones that are already in. The Blues not only need to play well, but they need at LEAST seven teams ahead of them to play poorly as well. That is too much to ask.

That said, we are JUST getting to the half way point of the season, so anything is possible. I like the Blues to jump over LA and Phoenix and maybe Columbus, but they likely will not get much further than that. Still, that is a big step up from last year. So keep hoping!

As a Kings fan I know the Blues got a great coach in Andy Murray. Look how quick hes turning things around there.Manny Legace is playing great now and theyr only 9 points out of the 8th spot .With 3 months left in the season I bet they will.

I'm sorry but i don't see them making it to the playoffs whats so ever. i will admit i predicted them to make a run for the playoffs with the pick ups of Legace and Guerin, Weight and Rucinsky coming back to the team and there just terrible at defence and are just looking bad out their. it will take a few more years till this team starts to show something on the ice and another thing there a pretty old team and need to adapted to the new NHL.

Anything is possible still. They're 6 points out of 3rd, but if they can't pull this game out they'll be 8 points out. It's still possible that they make the playoffs. At this point I just want them to get to .500. Anything will be an improvement over last year.

No chance this year but next year when they realign the divisions and add more playoff teams they should at least compete for a spot.

It's doubtful; too much parity in the conference.
