Until you pass the age barrier yourself you wont understand. Do it signifies sex, and at 15 and 16 teens feel they are old enough, but when you get older you realize you really weren't. Me telling you this nor your parents is going to make you believe it, and just like you didn't go to the education classes you wont heed any advice to not go too fast. If you were practically an adult and trustworthy, you would've gone to the classes, information never hurts unless you are worried it will change your mind, and ppl who are an adult do appreciate the extra guidence and information and wouldn't have avoided it just because their parents told them to do it. Are you locked in your closet, or your room, have they hired someone to follow you and jump in front of the coming guy if it looks like you are about to do it? So they set up classes to help you decide for sure you are ready, and this is controlling you? Truth is even if you are fifty or twenty or fifteen soon to be sixteen, sex complicates everything and it can cause emotional pain and heartache that could've been avoided if someone had cared enough to try and talk to you about it or make sure you had all the info on it. They love you, sorry it drives you crazy. If you had really wanted to ease their worry you wouldn't of skipped the classes, you would have gone to them at the least for their ease of mind. You haven't shown you are ready for the responsibility of 'it', and 'it' is a huge responsibility. And if 'it' turns out not to mean what it is supposed to, then you have created your own problems by needlessly worrying them.

I am sorry but 16 is not an adult. and I know that you might think you are. we all did at that age....when you have sex is really going to be up to you, but your parents might be right you may not be ready for it....have you gone to the clinic to get birth control...do you feel comfortable going to the store to by condoms...are you ready to accept what may happen if those things are not in place or do not work....are you ready to be a mother or get some std....do you giggle when you talk about sex....these are all signs that you may not be ready for it....We all think we know everything especially at 16, but then we grow up for real and look back at the things we did at 16 and even 18 and realize we didnt know anything about anything let alone sex and what it all really means....Dont blame your parents they love you and are just trying to protect you from something they probably know you will regret....Put yourself in their shoes...you are a parent...first do you even want that and second what would you do if you found out your 15 year old daughter was going to have sex....would you just tell her well honey are you pretty much and adult your father and I will leave the house so you two can have some privacy...if you think that is how you will answer that then there is another sign you arent ready...

I think they are just so concerned because there are SO MANY teenaged parents out there nowadays. Regardless of what precautions you take, if you are sexually active you could possible become a parent and frankly (regardless of what you may think) at the age of 16 you are just not ready for that. You've got to regain your parents trust and maybe wait until you're out of high school to have sex and risk becoming a parent yourself. Probably not the answer you wanted, but it's reality.

As a parent, I believe you are not grown-up until you are supporting yourself and working toward getting your own place- your own life in order. As long as I am supporting you, you are living under my roof, and i clothe & feed you then you are not even close to "grown-up" and I do not relish the thought of you getting knocked-up, giving me yet one more to provide for.
You may not like their rules, but until you are working and living on your own you will have to get used to them, they don't need your approval for setting rules in their house. Don't like it, get a job, an appartment, and move then you set the rules in your house.
Until then stop be a s_l_u_t giving your parents one more thing to worry about as if they don't have enough already, huh?

When you become 18 you can do as you like but, for right now you must do as your parents say.
